Evaluating Free Ninja Games Online

For those who are constantly in the lookout for free online entertainment in the form of flash games like me, the term Ninja Games Online may not be at all an alien term. But for not so eager gamers and new fans to the free online game arena, ninja games online are flash multimedia applications, which comprise a plot and require some kind of user intervention in order to build an entertaining game. Fighting games of some sort have been online for more than a decade, it was not long before the thrills and spills of virtual fighting connected with the enthusiasm that follows the ninja martial arts, and ninja games online where created.

Most of us have been in contact with some form of flash interactivity, even if it was just filling out a form. However, in online game applications is where flash has found it's niche. This programming platform once owned by Macromedia, now part of Adobe, allows developers to create a wide variety of animations, with detailed backgrounds and sound special effects that encumber the user into a virtual world. Many flash games are made involving letters and puzzles in order to help children develop and learn. Other games are not so educational and safe, such as online ninja games. In most cases these games feature a ninja with a sword looking to do some damage. The adrenalin flows, as players press a key and see their character fly into mid air and slash their enemy in half. Not to mention the blood spills everywhere. To add to the excitement, a myriad of special weapons and tactics are also available, where the player can throw a 'shuriken' or 'kunai' at his opponent.

On one hand, nobody can deny that Ninja fighters are an undeniable part of history and Japanese culture, even if they no longer exists per say. Online ninja games teach children of the existence of these characters and the methods they used for their attacks. Online ninja games include so much detail in their plot, that in some cases the player is required to become familiar with the weapons in order to put them in use. Terms like 'shuriken' and 'kunai' are now terms that have become part of the vocabulary of a ten year old.

On the other hand, however, there is the violence that form an integral part of free ninja games online. The player is led to use a sword to kill people, see the blood spurting out everywhere, and worst of all enjoy doing it. We have all heard the talk about how this is bad, and how we don't want to expose our children to violent behavior that may be conducive to actual deviant activities in their everyday life. Most of us would agree in that slashing people with swords is wrong. But when was the last time you saw in the news that someone was killed with a ninja sword because of the influence ninja games have on kids?
